PCDEI Leadership Team Meeting

Agenda:
1.Update on work with DiversityEdu and Team Dynamics; LMS question
LMS – learning management system – diversityedu course can be housed at LMS or it can integrate with moodle and possibly safe colleges. Signed the contract with Team Dynamics so starting to sketch out the outline and date for the spring series.
2.Faculty Senate & DEIC coordination/Athletics integration
Faculty Senate and Athletics are committed to continuing dialogue with groups and keep DEI training ongoing and connected in programming.
3.Student Senate coordination -ideas and possibilities
The main focus this semester was helping with the campus safety director hire and making sure that the hire works with the diverse population on campus. We’ve also been working on a room advisory board to help make the room selection process more inclusive.

Will work with GTS to figure this out.
5.Campus communication
An email will be sent out from Siri next week
6. Update on Linnaeus BoT process (launched yesterday)
It has officially launched. Ron and Siri appointed to co-chair a Linnaeus deliberation circle. Currently recruiting folks for that work.
